Perfect for displaying Thanksgiving greetings and so easy to change out for any occasion.
My inspiration came from these junky flower picture holders I created last year.
This year I started with a pile o' miscellaneous lamp parts and one unidentified piece of junk.
I added vintage buttons and remnants of broken jewelry because no junky magnetic card holder would be complete without a little sparkle.
See that magnet? It may be tiny, but it's mighty strong and it does a great job holding everything together.
No glue necessary.
Best Wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving

I'd love for you to stay connected with My Salvaged Treasures. I'm just one click away.
I love, love, this project and I have the random parts to make them myself! Are those rare earth magnets? If they are you can even use them as stud finders in your wall! They'll find a nail right through the sheetrock! :)
ReplyDeleteOMG I think they are flipping Fabulous!!!! Love them Betsy!
ReplyDeleteThose are great! And using the magnet instead of gluing is a stroke of genius. :-) I'm inspired. Inspired enough to clean up my craft room and hunt for parts however, remains to be seen. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at how your creative mind works!!!! These are awesome - how did you "see" this in that pile of junk?? :)
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous Betsy! I am in awe if your cleverness!! You truly are an inspiration :-)

ReplyDeleteAnother day, another gobsmack by Betsy. I adore them! The magnet is truly the best idea. And just the perfect little amount of bling, they still look old and mildly distressed, but rich and happy. (Just how I imagine my retirement years.)
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous! I love the one's you made last year also! You see the most amazing things in a pile of 'junk'.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Linda
