Rust and rhinestone love!
I really thought I was finished with rake makeovers, but I couldn't resist another one after my mom presented me with this rusty little treasure. I always knew the partially painted aluminum candle holder would come in handy.
Look at that perfect fit! It was meant to be. I spray painted the candlestick to resemble its original color, roughed it up in a few areas to get some red to show through, then filled it with tiny mother of pearl buttons.
I stenciled some JOY on a small strip of jute webbing and added a rhinestone brooch for a little sparkle.
Wishing you JOY this holiday season.
I'd love for you to stay connected with My Salvaged Treasures. I'm just one click away.
Betsy, that is just so cute! You know I love the word JOY! I'm decorating the home for Christmas today. Keeping it fairly simple, well for me anyway!
