I didn't have a single board large enough for the entire stencil, so I played around with the design and was able to fit it on five individual boards.
I rummaged through my pallet pile and found several narrow boards left over from another project. I didn't even bother filling the large holes before painting them with one coat of
A.S. Old Ochre Chalk Paint.
Now I have five individual B I N G O boards ready for hanging or for playing Bingo.
I used a very dry brush to keep the paint from seeping under the stencil. A couple of fingers and one piece of tape was enough to hold the stencil in place.
The Free Space was stenciled with the same paint I used for the background.
I left 4" of space at the bottom of the boards for some old chippy wooden knobs and a
rusty hook.
The last step was to add a hook to each board.
Hang them together side by side.
Hang just two.
Hang just three.
Or spread them out and fill up that empty space on your wall. (I have no empty space).
My sincere apologies if you have that song stuck in your head now!
