I could sure stuff a lot of stuff in here and still have room for more stuff!
Remember these?
What can I say?
This over sized rocking horse got my vote for Largest of Show. Last time it was an enormous head, and the time before that it was a gigantic missile. They grow them big out here!
I loved the graphics on this giant oil can.
This was my favorite thing I didn't buy. So darn cute, but way too expensive for something not on my focus list.
I always do some picking here at Fun Junk.
Vintage hardware heaven in Albie's booth S01.
Atelier De Campagne always has one of the best looking spaces!
Raise your hand if you like these vintage metal glove molds.
Love those doors and some of the pretty vignettes in this booth.
50% off. My kind of sale!
This very cool CLEANERS sign doesn't look big in the picture, but it had to be at least 6 feet long.
Just because it made me laugh out loud...and they had some pretty cool stuff. Old Fart Art.
Foosball anyone?
Just in case you need a little more vintage Christmas inspiration.
What did I buy? I behaved myself and only bought what would fit in my shopping cart without having to reload. I'll show you what was inside my cart just as soon as I have a chance to get some pictures. Happy treasure hunting!

Scuse me while I wipe the drool off my keyboard! Gorgeous pics! But Betsy, WHAT was that terrifying metal thing in the 2nd pic?
ReplyDeleteRemember drive-in movies?
DeleteLove all the junk! I need to go to Alameda Pt. soon too! Maybe we can meat up on a Sunday?
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me!
DeleteBetsy,
ReplyDeleteI drool!!! Must have made some hard decisions with all the lovelies around you! That little blue cabinet, the first pic; WOW!
I have so much inventory right now, so no junkin' for me and oh how I miss going junkin'. Thanks for sharing with me Betsy.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
Oooooh, I'd have a field day there! So let me ask you: that first photo of the metal drawers - I have a larger version and I'm trying to figure out how to clean it up and make it a little more pretty. Any thoughts?????
ReplyDeleteJeanine
Like Michelle, I'm wondering what that metal thing is...Thought I had seen it all, but apparently not! It was fun following along with you on your junking trip. Brought back memories of junking in California...it's just not the same in Alabama. Also, thank you for introducing me to the new part over at Bella Rosa Antiques. I joined in on the fun and can't wait for more!

Wow! what great stuff! I would have be in heaven at the hardware table.....don't need any of it! I would love to be able to go to that show! I made a trip in the minus degree weather today to the local VOA. They had 30% off + my 20% off senior discount. Will be doing a post soon on my treasures!
ReplyDeleteYou sure know how to start the year off right...junkin', junkin', and more junkin'! It too me a moment to remember what "those" were and then the lightbulb when off and I got a huge smile on my face. Drive in theater speakers. I haven't seen those around in ages!
ReplyDeleteYou must be very disciplined!!! What a colossal amount of goodness. I want one of everything from a couple of those booths. Thanks for the pics, even though it's not here I love seeing what's out there!!!
ReplyDeleteBest ~ Mickie.

Great pictures, looks like a fabulous way to get back into the routine of the new year!! How fun! Some of those booths are so pretty! The big truck and trailer would have been neat for something! :) Can't wait to see what you got! xo Holly
ReplyDeleteIt is ok....I needed to howl and drool a little for today. I want that truck! I know I can't afford that truck, but I want it!!
ReplyDeleteOh My...be still my heart!! I see some awesome pieces that would be great to use in jewelry making.
ReplyDeleteI have to wait until May until we have any outdoor flea markets. We have 6 inches of snow on the ground and a wind chill of -17 right now! Now I'm going to go back and drool over all your great photos.

ReplyDeleteIt was fun to do some vicarious junking through your photos!! That red and green truck is so cute--would be wonderful for the holidays filled with pine cones or something. And that giant cleaners sign--- I want it!!
ReplyDeleteMy kind of sale! I love the drive in movie speakers...At least once a year I would drive away with one in my car lol! Wish I had them now!
ReplyDeleteCarol

ReplyDeleteNo, I do not remember "these". What the heck is that contraption??
Sigh. I can only dream of places to find such treasures, Betsy. I think I would have rummaged for hours in all the boxes with the hardware. I love that metal box and the oil can and look forward to seeing what you've bought.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

Julia
