I love using bits and pieces from old broken rosaries.
The necklace in the middle is a tin type photo surrounded by
a brass frame that I think might have been part of a buckle.
I love the light green paint on this key escutcheon.
The sterling silver salt shaker can be opened up to store little treasures.
Antique brass steel cut button earrings
Old snaps and shoe buttons make cute little earrings.
I like the look of antique gold and silver together.
The little pearls are from a rosary (same as in the necklace below)
and the center rhinestones are from a broken necklace.
The necklace on top is also a mixture of gold and silver. I used a rosary for the chain, vintage earrings on the sides, and the center is from a mother of pearl and rhinestone pin. The silver filigree surrounding it is reproduction.
The pendant on the black and silver necklace is made from an old coat button and
a rhinestone earring. The antiqued silver piece surrounding it was rescued from
another piece of jewelry
I was able to make several bracelets and necklaces
from these adorable little hinges

Hi Betsy -
ReplyDeleteWOW! I LOVE these pieces....the hinged bracelet is beautiful! I have some vintage pieces I acquired from my grandma and from yard sales that I would love to repurpose. You have truly inspired me to do something with them.
Simply Gorgeous!

Hi Betsy-
ReplyDeleteLove your jewelry pieces. You are doing a great job on your blog. I see you will be at the Lodi Street Fair in Oct. I love that fair.
I try to go to it every year. Also Lodi has some awesome shops. I will look for you this year.
I love all the jewelry! They are beautiful! I especially love the snaps in the earrings! You have a great talent!
ReplyDeleteI love how you piece together different items and they work soo well together. I love the gold and silver earrings with the pearls
ReplyDeleteLove your jewelry, I do rejuvenated vintage as well. So jealous of all the salvage outlets near you. All they have here in Austin is a Habitat store that has begun to think they are Lowes with their pricing.
ReplyDeleteI'm becoming a follower, I'd love it if you followed me as well.
Susanne.

Inspiring! I am especially in love (rather madly in love) with the sewing machine necklace you made from the tension panel of that old White machine from the garage sale.
ReplyDeleteLovely work! Makes me want to get my old jewelry bits out of the box and make something new.
